The lake is an integrated part of our communities. Most of our properties have membership to the lake activities and permit you to use their membership tags for free access to the lake activities. (Except for boats which require an hourly rental). You can use the facilities at Big Boulder and Jack Frost.

Big Boulder Lake
Heated Swimming Pools, Fishing, Boating, (Sailboats, Fishing, Canoe, Rowboats, Kayaks & Paddle boats) Har-Tru Tennis Courts, Volleyball, Lessons in Tennis & Sailing, Water Races, Pool Aerobics, Swimming Lessons, Showers, Kids Activities, Playground, Retail Shop, and much more.
Beach & Pool
- There is no daily charge for use of the pool. Please bring your own towels. Use of the pool is extended to maximum bed capacity of the household per day.
- No one is permitted in the pool area except during scheduled hours.
- The attendant on duty may close the pool during scheduled hours for reasons of safety, weather or maintenance.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the pool area unless accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) who shall be responsible for the child’s behavior and compliance with all pool regulations and rules.
- Babies and toddlers must wear plastic pants in all pools.
- Non-swimming younger children may be in the large pool only if accompanied by a parent or guardian swimmer.
- Swimming in the lake is limited to the designated areas only.
- No running, dunking, pushing or other horseplay is permitted. Enter the pool with caution at all times. The pools are shallow and NO diving is permitted. Flotation devices may be used with the permission of the attendant. Non-swimmers may not use a flotation device unless he/she is accompanied by a guardian swimmer.
- Attendants have discretionary authority in establishing and administering safety regulations.
- China or glassware is prohibited in the pool enclosure. Use the trash containers and ashtrays provided.
- Pets are NOT permitted at the pool or on the Beach.
LAKE FISHING & BOATING
- All Commonwealth of PA Boating and Fishing Commission rules and regulation apply.
- Boats must be registered at Lake Mountain Club office.
- Boats cannot be longer than 16 feet. USCG approved wearable personal flotation devices are required for each occupant. Children age 12 and under must wear an appropriately sized life jacket.
- For your protection. we ask boats to exit to the closest shore in the event of severe inclement weather.
- Diving, jumping and swimming from boats is prohibited due to hidden rocks and stumps below the water line.
- Only electric powered motors are permitted on Big Boulder Lake and must display current PA fish and boat commission power boat registration.
- Inflatable crafts must be USCG approved and be a minimum of 8 feet in length, with a minimum of 3 independent chambers.
- Boat launching facilities are located next to the Midlake shoreline.
- Trailers and vehicles not in use must be kept away from launching area.
- Daily limit br bass is 5 fish, minimum 15”. Daily limit for trout is 5 fish, minimum II Weekly limit is 10 fish per species (bass & trout).
- No limit for pan fish. Good sportsmanship requires that an injured fish not be returned to the lake.
- Fishing is not permitted from swimming and beach areas.
- Fishing is not permitted on or near the dam breast.
- Use of live bait, except worms, is not permitted. Any person fishing with live bait will lose all
Lake Club privileges for the season.
- Persons age 16 and over must possess a current Pennsylvania fishing license.
Tennis
- All guests and renters are required to pay court fees. Reservations are required.
- Court Reservations: A court may be reserved for either single or double play, one day in advance. Reservations can be made at the Club Office or by calling Big Boulder (570) 122-0133 or Jack Frost (570)-443-8425 extension 2630. Reservations are limited to one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. It courts are available, play can continue beyond reserved time period for an additional charge
- Player Registration Before playing, all members of the playing group are required to check-in at Club House to receive their court assignment, wristband and pay court fee.
- Dress Only approved tennis footwear may be worn on any tennis court.. Attire is limited to approved tennis apparel only. In the event of questionable athre and foot wear, the decision of management is final.
Tennis Etiquette
- Only persons actually engaged in play may be on the tennis courts (maximum of 4).
- Please do not interrupt play on the adjacent court by walking onto the other court, retrieving a ball or by disruptive chatter or behavior.
- Children under 10 years of age are not allowed to be unattended on courts.
- Club Management reserves the right to ask any one to leave whose behavior or attire s not acceptable to Club standards.
